When our veterinarians examine your pet, they gather valuable insights into their health. However, a physical exam can’t always reveal everything. For deeper insights into your pet’s health, we rely on diagnostic testing. We offer in-hospital and in-house diagnostics in addition to our referral lab diagnostics.
At St. Pete Veterinary Hospital, we’re committed to providing top-notch care for your furry family members. We would be honored to have your pet as a patient.
We perform blood tests, urinalysis, and cytologies to diagnose and monitor a wide range of health issues.
We have a reference lab (out-of-house) to run additional diagnostics that can test for almost anything.
Used to check for injuries, ingested objects, and to examine the size and position of organs.
Ideal for examining fluid-filled organs like the heart, liver, and spleen, as well as monitoring pregnancies. Ultrasounds are by appointment only with Dr. Weaver.
Our onsite diagnostics allow us to provide quick and accurate results, ensuring your pet gets the timely care they need. If diagnostic imaging is required, our veterinarians will choose the most appropriate technology for your pet’s situation.
